Access Film Music Private Showcases
Terms and Conditions
By reserving a private showcase with Access Film Music LLC, I affirm that I have read, understood and agree to the Terms and Conditions contained in this document.
Only people registered for the Folk Alliance International Conference can perform at private showcases, and this includes sidemen. Folk Alliance International has established a limit of 6 private showcases per artist, and it is the artist's responsibility to ensure they are in compliance with this limit. Access Film Music LLC reserves the right to cancel any private showcases that exceed this limit and refunds may or may not be issued at the sole discretion of Access Film Music LLC. Private Showcases in the Access Film Music rooms are only considered confirmed once payment has been received, and are assigned on a "first-come, first-scheduled" basis. Refunds for private showcase reservations may be made at the sole discretion of Access Film Music LLC, and will only occur when a replacement artist can be scheduled and Access Film Music LLC has received their payment.
Any private showcase reservations received after the Folk Alliance deadline for schedule submissions to their printed Private Showcase Pocket Guide may NOT be included in FAI's printed PGS Pocket Guide. They will, however, be included in Folk Alliance's smartphone app schedules, Access Film Music's online schedules and the printed schedules we post outside our showcase rooms each day. The deadline is usually in early January.
To reserve a performance time, click on the 
button that appears in the Status / Artist column which corresponds to the room and time slot you wish to reserve. This will direct you to PayPal, where you can pay your showcase reservation fee and lock-in your showcase time slot.
After making each private showcase reservation, it is your responsibility to check the schedules to confirm that your showcases are listed correctly: Check the date, the time and please make sure you have spelled your name correctly. Also, if your name doesn't link to your website, please send us an email to let us know the URL to which you wish to link. info@accessfilmmusic.net
All artists who have received a showcase invitation from Access Film Music that are registered for the Folk Alliance International Conference are welcome to reserve up to 6 private showcase times, the maximum number allowed by FAI for any artist.
Folk Alliance International has imposed a limit of 6 private showcases for each artist. FAI has decreed that Access Film Music LLC may be required to cancel showcases for artists who exceed this limit. Such cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy outlined in this "Terms & Conditions" agreement.
You are not permitted to reserve showcase times for artists that have not received a showcase invitation from Access Film Music. If you know of an artist that is looking for showcase opportunities, please ask them to send an email with links to their music to info@accessfilmmusic.net. Do not sign them up yourself -- The invitation you received is for you only!
Due to the constraints of our programming, if you wish to reserve multiple sets, each reservation will have to be executed as a separate transaction. Access Film Music LLC reserves the right to limit the number of showcases available to any artist, at the sole discretion of Access Film Music LLC. Folk Alliance International has imposed a strict limit of 6 private showcases per artist.
You can make your private showcase reservations safely and securely using any major credit or debit card, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover, or using PayPal's convenient e-check payment.
If you select a timeslot that has already been reserved, you should receive a "SOLD OUT" response, and be re-directed to the Sign-up / Schedule page, where you are able to select an alternate timeslot.
In the event of a programming glitch that erroneously allows two artists to reserve the same showcase time, thereby causing a double-booking, the artist whose PayPal transaction shows the earlier time-stamp will be the artist who is confirmed for that showcase time. Access Film Music LLC cannot be held liable for any losses arising from such a situation, but will make best efforts to accommodate any artists adversely affected by this type of glitch and will offer the inconvenienced artist alternative showcase options at no additional charge.
In the event that any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall be held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, such provisions shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions is deemed to constitute either Access Film Music LLC or the artists to be a partner or employee of the other party.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the State of Illinois USA, and any dispute arising from the artist's reservation or participation in any Access Film Music LLC event must and will be adjudicated in Illinois courts.
