¡Hola SWRFA! will be the first official SWRFA / Folk Alliance event to take place in the country of Mexico, one of the territories represented by SWRFA (Southwest Regional Folk Alliance). Organized in partnership with Access Film Music LLC, the Official Music Partner of the All Americas Independent Film Festival which will be taking place in Ciudad de México August 14 - 16, 2026, this will be the second year Access has produced music showcases as part of AAIFF.
The All Americas Independent Film Festival (AAIFF) is one of the festival members of the ÉCU Group of Film Festivals. Access has been the Official Music Partner of ÉCU for the past 16 years, producing live music showcases annually at the ÉCU Film Festival in Paris, France.
¡Hola SWRFA! will offer panels, workshops, networking sessions and one-on-one mentoring opportunities, in addition to live music showcases, designed to bring together the local music community for connection, learning and collaboration. The aim is to strengthen the local music ecosystems by helping musicians connect with one another and discover resources that already exist in Mexico City and the country of Mexico.

MX$200 (approximately US$12), which includes breakfast and lunch, as well as all the panels, workshops, networking and mentoring sessions.
For musicians and artists who wish to attend, but for whom the cost of entry would be a hardship, please email holaswrfa@accessfilmmusic.net to request a scholarship for free entry.

automatically include showcase consideration; Showcase applications must be submitted separately from event registration. There is no charge to submit an application for a showcase at ¡Hola SWRFA!

You are free to submit your showcase application in English or Spanish. Your choice will not have any impact on whether or not you will be offered a showcase opportunity at ¡Hola SWRFA!. Submissions in both languages will all be given equal consideration.
